Another of the Islands popular Restaurants that is situated right on the waterfront, taking advantage of unspoilt views over the Solent and the edge of the New Forest Beyond. The Little Gloster is situated on the edge of Gurnard, a popular area with sailing enthusiasts, evident by the many boats and sailing dinghies parked nearby.
The Restaurant has panoramic windows looking out over the shore, bringing plenty of natural light into the dining area, which has touches of Scandinavian style and the odd nautical themed trinket.
The menu changes almost daily and as you’d expect from the area is rich in local seafood, and locally sourced produce. If you’re not a fan of Seafood, they also cook some incredible steak and Pasta dishes.
In addition to the large indoor dining area, there is also a lawned area to the rear which is a great spot in the summer to enjoy lunch by the waters edge and watch the occasional yacht sailing by.
Booking is recommended, particularly at peak times and especially around Cowes week (early August).
The Restaurant is open on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and from Midday till late on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
