This beautifully presented former part of an Edwardian Church has been very tastefully converted into a very special property, whilst at the same time retaining many of the original features such as: exposed beams within a vaulted ceiling in the living room, stained glass windows in several rooms, ornate wood panelled high ceilings in two bedrooms and the turned balustrade on the staircase. The marriage of the modern double-glazed windows and stylish fitments blend tastefully throughout.

On the ground floor you will be spoilt for space where an extensive open plan living area is fitted with a modern kitchen including integrated appliances. A grand recess provides a rather special dining area with a large ceiling lantern flooding the area with natural light, then at the end of the Hall is a very well-appointed Cloakroom.

On the first floor a sizeable family bathroom is fitted with both a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower enclosure. The master King bedroom is next door and has a separate dressing area. On the second floor, both the Double and Twin bedrooms enjoy the ornate vaulted ceilings. There is a small patio area at the front of the property, ideal for relaxing in the afternoon sunshine.

The safe sandy beaches of Totland and Colwell Bay are within easy walking distance and the favourite surfing beach at Compton is just a short drive away, as are many beauty spots such as Alum Bay, The Needles, Tennyson Down and Freshwater Bay, making it a superb base for your holiday.

Located in Totland Bay this 3 bedroomed spacious house is also within easy reach of the Village facilities of both Totland and Freshwater, which include supermarkets, a Butcher, a Baker, a Fishmonger and Fish & Chip shops too. Not to mention the excellent Medical and Sports Centre's.

Along the nearby seafront there are several excellent places to eat and/or drink, such as ‘The Waterfront Restaurant & Bar' and ‘The Pier Café’’ at Totland and ‘The Hut’ and ‘Captain’s Cabin’ at Colwell. Each very different to suit every taste.

Nowhere here is too far away with the Island just 22.5 miles East to West and 13.5 miles North to South. Further afield is the Estuary at Newtown, the picturesque Winkle Street at Calbourne, the sub-tropical Botanical Gardens at Ventnor and the thatched villages of Brighstone, Mottistone, Shorwell and Godshill. ‘Osborne House’ at East Cowes was Queen Victoria’s Island retreat and is open to the public as are Carisbrooke and Yarmouth Castles.

CHILDREN OVER 12 ARE WELCOME here and for our younger guests there are so many wonderful places to visit; Blackgang Chine, The Tiger and Big Cat Sanctuary, Robin Hill Country Park, the Donkey Sanctuary, and Tapnell Farm & Aqua Parks to name but a few. From any Ferry port head to Yarmouth, continue towards Colwell Common, shortly after the Common, take the first exit at the roundabout onto The Avenue, then immediately take the first right into Uplands Road where 4 Church House can be found on your left.
