Whether you are looking for a short break, a family holiday or a longer stay-and-work stint, the well located and yet quiet, self-contained flat is perfectly equipped for a great time away from home.
Ryde offers a fantastic range of local amenities and shops. Just a few minutes’ walk to award winning beaches, marina, and to the town centre where you find cafes, restaurants, pubs, a large co-op, high street shops, and unique boutiques. Appley beach along Ryde seafront is safe and ideal for bathing. At low tide the expansive sandy beach stretches out a considerable distance making it a popular place for swimming and paddling in the shallow water in warmer weather, as well as sports and outdoor activities both on and off the beach.Known as the gateway to the Island, Ryde has excellent transport links to rail, bus and ferry passengers, meaning you can leave your car behind. If you feel like branching out and exploring the island just stroll down to the train and bus station or the ferry ports.
Choose to relax in spacious surroundings, grab a glass of wine and take in the panoramic views whilst watching the world go by on the Solent or head out and explore all there is on offer in this great area.The apartment is all located on the second floor of the building up two flights of stairs.A classic Victorian flat with high ceilings and period features combined with modern luxury furniture, it immediately welcomes you as a home from home. The super king size bed, plenty of drawers and wardrobe space make you feel at home in the spacious master bedroom. The twin bedroom has two single beds and also drawers and wardrobe space and is overlooking the Solent and direct views down Ryde Pier. Portsmouth’s landmark, the Spinnaker Tower, just looks beautiful when the sun went down and it is getting illuminated. Blackout blinds and hotel quality bedding make you snooze away.Along the hallway with storage for coats and shoes you will find the beautifully appointed bathroom with a bath and over bath shower.Also from the hallway you find the spacious lounge room with plenty of comfy seating, a large smart TV and BOSE sound system, boardgames and a desk if you should need some time for work. Free super-fast broadband and WiFi are obligatory. Sit on the stylish chaise long in the big bay window and enjoy the views down Ryde Pier head and the Solent. With a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of wine to relax after a busy day exploring the Island. This is the best place to relax.The lounge leads into the light filled, fully equipped charming kitchen with stunning panoramic sea views. The kitchen has a dining table with space for 4 and a useful utility cupboard housing a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen comes fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, bean coffee machine, electric cattle, toaster and a fridge/freezer.
If you choose to take your own car, you don’t need to worry about parking. Guests have their designated off-road parking space (for a standard sized car). On-street parking is also available on a first come first served basis. A local zone parking permit can be provided if needed. We can even offer car ferry discounts on request.

We have a no pets policy, we are not against pets, but many are allergic, so we want to provide an allergy free environment.
There are two flights of stairs up to the second floor to the apartment. There is no lift in the building unfortunately.
