UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP ( Oct 2021 ) This newly built, spacious, and well-equipped Park Lodge is set within beautiful and peaceful rural surroundings at Roebeck Country Park. The Lodge is light and spacious with views from the living room out over the well-maintained communal gardens.
There is space for up to six people at the property, which has two bedrooms and additional sleeping capacity available in the living room, ideally for children. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room, king sized bed and TV. There is also a twin bedroom with single beds and a family bathroom with Bath and Shower
The open plan living area encompasses the large fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area for 6 and also the very comfortable living area with armchairs and sofa. For added comfort in the colder months, there is a feature gas fireplace, which add real charm to the lodge in the evenings.
The sliding patio doors in the living room open out onto the large wrap-around decking, which is tastefully arranged with a plethora of potted plants and outside tables & chairs. A perfect spot for a morning coffee or evening drink.
Roebeck Country Park is located just outside the popular seaside town of Ryde but is set within an incredibly quiet and peaceful rural area. The country park has recently been extensively redeveloped with the addition of new facilities and fishing lakes. There is woodland to explore with some amazing views of the Ashey valley.
The nearby Steam Railway at Havenstreet is a popular attraction with visitors and the old Smallbrook line used by the Steam Railway passes within half a mile of the park. Ryde Town has plenty to offer visitors, including a vibrant high street filled with independent shops, bars & restaurants. Seafront promenade stretches all the way to Seaview and takes about an hour to walk end to end. From the Victorian Pier or the Railway bridge, you can see the Hovercrafts come and go, and easily travel to Portsmouth or Southsea within minutes.
This property offers a rural escape, in comfortable accommodation with easy access to attractions, beaches and ferries to and from the mainland.
NB: A Fishing licence will be required to fish in the lake.

From any of the ferry ports, head for Ryde and then Ashey Road. At Smallbrook roundabout, turn into Carters Road and look for the large entrance signage. Follow the track through the park, your lodge which is No. 10 will be the 2nd from the top on the right.
There is ample parking for guests on the gravel drive to side of the lodge
