This modernised Chalet looks out from the front of the park towards the Sea and cliff path leading towards Yaverland Beach and up to Culver Down. The chalet has recently been fully refurbished to a high standard and is very well-maintained self-catering holiday property, ideal for a relaxing holiday on the Isle of Wight.

The are 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with bunk beds with a double on the bottom and a single on top.

Sandown Holiday Park is an often-overlooked hidden gem of a location, situated in Yaverland, at the far end of Sandown Bay, where the long rows of wooden groynes, where the beach opens up to vast areas of unspoilt sand. The actual park was closed many years ago, but all of the holiday chalets remain and have been passed over to private ownership and many of these have been modernised in recent years.

There is easy access to the coastal path along the cliff top and towards the beach and also up to Culver Down. There’s even a pub at the top!

The beach at Yaverland is mostly sandy, with safe bathing waters. There is a beach café at the west end of the beach, as it leads into Sandown Bay.

The sandy beaches of Sandown Bay are within easy walking distance, as are popular attractions along the seafront, such as Sandown Zoo, Dinosaur Isle and the new crazy golf course and playground at Sandham. There are some excellent bars and restaurants along the seafront, all with great sea views and a walking distance from the Chalet, so you can leave the car behind.

Interior layout The are 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with bunks, one double on the bottom and one single on the top, and open plan living and kitchen area and 1 Shower Room.

Directions

From any of the Ferry ports, head for Sandown and to the Seafront along Culver Parade. Continue eastwards, past the Zoo. Just after the car park on the right, continue up the hill appox 200 yards and take the first right into Sandown Bay Holiday Park. Number 35 is the second to last Chalet on the row to your left, directly in front of the entrance to the clifftop footpath.

There is ample parking available in front of the property in the various parking bays, and also additional space available a few yards away in the overspill area.
