Situated at the quieter rear of the Sandown Holiday Park, "Palm View", 155 Sandown Bay has lovely rural views out towards the Bembridge Downs and is not looked upon by the other chalets, giving you a bit more privacy than most. The park is located above one of the largest Sandy beaches on the Isle of Wight, with safe and shallow bathing waters.

The chalet is fully equipped in a traditional style and even some beach essentials such as wind break and chairs available for trips to the beach, which will save you some space in the car!

The are 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with single beds, and open plan living and kitchen area and 1 bathroom with Bath and electric shower

Sandown Holiday Park is an often-overlooked hidden gem of a location, situated in Yaverland, at the far end of Sandown Bay, where the long rows of wooden groynes, where the beach opens up to vast areas of unspoilt sand. There is easy access to the coastal path along the cliff top and towards the beach and also up to Culver Down. There’s even a pub at the top!

The sandy beaches of Sandown Bay are within easy walking distance, as are popular attractions along the seafront, such as Sandown Zoo, Dinosaur Isle and the new crazy golf course and playground at Sandham.

Here are some excellent bars and restaurants along the seafront, all with great sea views and a walking distance from the Chalet, so you can leave the car behind.

NB: Please note that the chalet has an electric meter which runs on £1 coins

Directions

From any of the Ferry ports, head for Sandown and to the Seafront along Culver Parade. Continue eastwards, past the Zoo. Just after the car park on the right, continue up the hill appox 200 yards and take the first right into Sandown Bay Holiday Park. Number 144 is towards the rear of the development. Follow the road round to the left and park in the last car park. Number 144, overlooking the fields and trees to the rear of the park.

There is ample parking available in large parking area the rear of the chalet in the various parking bays, and additional space available a few yards away in the overspill area
