Downs View (144 Sandown Bay Holiday Park), is an excellent example of the traditional Holiday Chalets that can be found at the end of Sandown Bay, leading onto Culver Downs. The chalet has recently been fully refurbished and is very well-maintained self-catering holiday property, ideal for a relaxing holiday on the Isle of Wight.
There are 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with bunk beds, and a sofa bed in the living room for larger groups as the chalet can accommodate up to 6 people. In addition to the sofa, there is also a dining table and chairs for 6 in the living area.
The owner has recently installed a new ‘wet-room’ with electric shower in addition to adding new furnishings and appliances. The property has rural views from the front of the property and has access to nearby parking at the rear of the property.
The sandy beaches of Sandown Bay are within easy walking distance, as are popular attractions along the seafront, such as Sandown Zoo, Dinosaur Isle and the new crazy golf course and playground at Sandham. There are some excellent bars and restaurants along the seafront, all with great sea views and a walking distance from the Chalet, so you can leave the car behind.
1 Dog is allowed subject to approval and fee of £35 per booking.

From any of the Ferry ports, head for Sandown and to the Seafront along Culver Parade. Continue eastwards, past the Zoo. Just after the car park on the right, continue up the hill appox 200 yards and take the first right into Sandown Bay Holiday Park. Number 144 is towards the rear of the development. Follow the road round to the left and park in the last car park. Number 144, overlooking the fields and trees to the rear of the park.
There is ample parking available in large parking area the rear of the chalet in the various parking bays, and additional space available a few yards away in the overspill area.
